Love for the sea & it’s amazing healing powers

Goa is undoubtedly the most toursity place in the map of India. And for an unconventional traveller like me, this ideally would not feature as a top destination. But Goa for me is much more than a tourity hip place. I have a very strong personal connection with this place and I have lost count of how many times I have visited Goa.

My plan was to settle by the beach in Goa, now it seems too far off but one cannot tell really. Coming back to my connection with Goa. I was going through a very deep emotional crisis in my life and I happen to visit Goa, it was a random trip with no agenda. I sat by the beach by myself and something changed inside me. I looked at the waves hitting the shores and that cycle repeat itself and the sound of the waves moved me to tears. As I kep looking at the horizon I realised life often presents us with infite possibilities but we do not take our eyes off the shore.

Ever since, the sea has become my metaphore for infinite possibilities, I now look far beyond the shore. Everytime I am in Goa the only thing i cherish the most is sitting on the becah by myself and just looking ahead into the horizon, its meditative, try it you won’t be dissapointed.

And I love everything else about this little state, the narrow village roads, the warm and slow people, living their life to the fullest, the coastal food, the sunshine, the laid back vibe. These are my things in Goa. I wish to wake up every morning by the sea and spend my day slow and do as I like. Life is Goa would be perfect but untill I get there I shall visit Goa as often as I can.
